This toothpaste has the most perfect consistency as any I’veve ever used. The taste is great and the packaging in very cool. You will have to get used to not losing the cap though, since most toothpaste brands today have an attached cap. It’ves totally worth the extra care though because it’ves wonderful.

Rather than strawberry or banana, the only thing it tastes like is xylitol, and there’s so much that it’s unpleasantly sweet. That said, I eventually got used to the flavor, and it makes me teeth feel nice and clean. So if you enjoy the taste, it will be a great toothpaste.

Update: I am lowering my review to a 3-star after trying this product again for a second time. The flavor is still pretty decent but the aftertaste was even worse when I used a more generous amount to try and fix the bladder issue that it has. It also has a greedy kind of baking soda feel to it which I imagine it does have baking soda in it because I know that sometimes used in toothpaste. I don’t hate this product and I’m not saying to avoid it but it’s definitely not for everybody and I don’t think it’s for me.
Its really strange… my whole life I’ve used standard toothpaste and I just got tired of the same boring old minty flavor and I wanted to try something flavored so I came on over here to online and Google flavored toothpaste and the doctor Sheffield’s was one of the highest rated toothpaste.
I was obviously very skeptical especially after seeing a lot of comments about some sort of carrageenan being in the toothpaste but I saw dr. Sheffield had squash the bad rumors by saying that the type they used was safe and the amount that you would ingest if you did swallow was so low that nothing would happen.
So I went ahead and bought it and it came and I just tried it and it’s really really weird it doesn’t foam up very well like normal toothpaste does and it left kind of a weird aftertaste in my mouth and my mouth doesn’t really feel clean it doesn’t feel dirty but it doesn’t feel you clean that could just be the placebo that mint toothpaste leaves behind though.
Well I’m giving it a 4-star because it’s not perfect it’s really weird the tubes are small it doesn’t foam up good and the aftertaste is a little annoying so I think there’s room for improvement but it’s also pretty much exactly what was advertised.

This is the best sensitive care toothpaste I’veve ever used & best toothpaste brand in general. Much better tasting than Sensodyne or Tom’ves equivalent. It’ves cleansing & I’ved even say hydrating, no weird mouthfeel. I used to get it at CVS but they stopped carrying the sensitive variety.
I also have received tubes that were hardened & nearly impossible to squeeze, or eventually became that way. I imagine it’ves something to do with the type of stabilizers, lack of artificial preservatives, or warehouse storage methods. It does have xanthan gum and carrageenan stabilizers. My digestion has never done well with carrageenan, it’ves a super common ingredient in ice cream and alt-dairy products. I don’vet recommend eating it but I have no problem with it being in my toothpaste!
If you get a bad tube, just ask for a replacement.

This is the first time I’ve used this toothpaste, but not the first time I’ve tried alternative flavors. Usually I’m left with a feeling of thick mucus or my breath still smells sort of noxious. Tuttifrutti or bubblegum laced, but noxious.
This toothpaste, however, leaves my mouth feeling fresh and my breath smelling the same! I have to admit that I was skeptical, when I started brushing my teeth with Dr. Sheffield’s Toothpaste, for the very first time. It tastes of a strawberry-banana smoothie! Like a real one, not an artificially flavored one! So yummy!
I can’t stand the taste of mint toothpaste and it makes my mouth feel like it’s on fire and the skin inside literally starts sloughing off! I’ve dealt with it, most of my life because there were few other options. Not anymore!!! Love this stuff! And it contains no toxic chemicals. What a relief.

The simple things in life that can transform your life and make you feel so grateful. This toothpaste oh lala! It totally surprised, shocked me, making me aware how this was the first time I ever enjoyed brushing my teeth and it felt so good. I got the chocolate and the banana strawberry one and they are both wonderful. Being so sensitive with what touches my skin toothpastes just always didn’vet feel right and did not make my mouth or lips, skin feel good, I was even allergic to some. It was always a bla for my body but not anything I ever paid attention too. It was just a “well that’ves just what toothpaste is like. Not my thing just something I have to use.”
But this one just feels soooooo good in my mouth, feels really nice on my skin its wonderful! And of course the flavors are just fantastic!
